Racing

Participation in races at BCSA is open to everyone, whether you’re a club member or not.

Feel free to join us by checking out our Race Calendar. We offer three series comprising over 40 races throughout the year for both our dingy and keelboat fleets.

In addition to series racing, we host various exciting regattas, including the St. Patrick’s Day Regatta, The Mayor’s Cup, Animal Cracker Regatta, TVCC, Great River Race, and the Halloween Regatta. Notably, The Great River Race stands out as the longest inland river race in the US, attracting sailors from across the nation.

BCSA actively participates in the Tennessee Valley Challenge Cup (TVCC), an annual event organized by five sailing clubs along the Tennessee river in AL and TN. To be part of this friendly regatta, vying for bragging rights and a substantial cup, become a club member. The venue changes annually, so refer to the racing calendar for the latest information.
