Chug to Snug Cruise

Hello BCSA Sailors,

It’s time to kick off the overnight season! Dust off the anchors and prep the cabins—we’re heading out for a weekend of rafting up and relaxation.

The Plan: Saturday, April 18th – Sunday, April 19th

Saturday Afternoon: We will depart Browns Creek Marina at 3:00 PM and cruise over to Honeycomb. My family has an early Saturday morning hence the later departure time, but if anyone wants to head towards Honeycomb earlier that’s fine. We will meet up with you as soon as we can.

Saturday Night: We’ll be anchoring out and rafting up for our first overnight of the year. It’s a great chance to enjoy the sunset on the water and catch up with everyone. Let’s plan for dinner on anchor so make sure you provision up prior to departure!

Sunday Morning: Wake up to the sights and sounds of the lake with some morning coffee and breakfast on the boats. Discuss your latest boat projects to pass the time until lunch.

Sunday Lunch: We’ll weigh anchor and cruise over to the Snug Harbor Pavilion for lunch. We intend on arriving at the Snug Pavilion by noon.

Not staying overnight?
No problem! If you can’t join us for the raft-up, please feel free to drive over and meet the fleet at Snug Harbor around 12:00 PM on Sunday for lunch and socializing.
